Gentle therapeutic yoga and meditation aimed at all ability levels to ensure a safe and inclusive environment. The Jiyu approach adapts to the needs of each individual via selective yoga postures, practical mindfulness techniques, and various methods of static and moving mediation.

Stress Management

Powerful, practical sessions on what stress is and does, and how it can be proactively managed. We look at both internal factors and external factors in stress physiology and psychology, how to regulate our nervous system, and how to help calm others. Methodologies include breathing techniques, relaxed movement, and simple daily strategies for achieving robust calmness.

Health Coaching / Fitness

Learn the basics of balancing of the 4 pillars of health: movement, nutrition, sleep, and social engagement. Includes essentials of ergonomics and posture, and how to use your body in a balanced way that avoids repetitive movements, strains, and injuries.

Somatic Team Building

Build camaraderie through physical experiences, problem-solving, group meditation, co-regulation, and the practice of authentic interpersonal relations.

Situational Awareness / Self-Defense

Learn how to spot and avoid potential threats long before they happen, along with simple techniques of physical and verbal de-escalation that help you to feel safer, more confident, and more secure in daily life and travel. Curriculum and topics of study are scaled to the needs of the group based on perceived needs.
